Fatsa District Health Directorate started screening studies for female employees in Fatsa Organized Industrial Zone, drawing attention to the importance of early diagnosis in the fight against cancer.In this context, the first application was carried out in SLN Tekstil company, where the number of female employees is high.

Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Training Center (KETEM) teams affiliated with the District Health Directorate organized trainings on breast cancer, cervical cancer and colon cancer screenings at SLN Tekstil.Following the training, the company's employees were screened and an important step was taken for early diagnosis of cancer.

SLN Tekstil's care for the health of its employees and this service it offers in cooperation with the District Health Directorate were evaluated as an exemplary practice.Authorities stated that similar studies will continue in other factories and pointed out the life-saving role of early diagnosis.
